Where are you located?

We currently operate four facilities three in Gadsden and one in Scottsboro:
-The Basil Gilchrist Unit, located in Gadsden (Alabama City area) at 600 Black Creek Road
- The Florence Daugette Unit located in East Gadsden at 1416 Park Avenue
-The Gaston 21st Century Community Learning Center located at 4550 U.S. Hwy 411 @ the Gaston School building.
The Administrative Office for all the organizations is located at 402 South 3rd Street in Gadsden. |
-The Ben Sanford Unit located at 309 North Houston Street, Scottsboro, Al.
What time are you open?
The clubhouse facilities are open from 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday during the school year. Summer and school holiday hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours for the Administrative Offices are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

What is there to do?
|
There are a variety of programs ongoing at each unit on a daily basis. In addition, activities such as gym games, basketball, baseball, football, arts & crafts and special events are scheduled on a month by month basis. Computer labs are located at the four facilities for use by Club members. Contact the unit nearest to you for a full calendar of events and scheduled program times. |
Can I play sports?
YES!! We offer intra-Club sports such as basketball and volleyball as well as football, baseball and basketball with the City of Gadsden leagues. Call 547-7161 for more information on our football league, 492-3786 for basketball and baseball..
How much does it cost?
| Membership dues are typically $10 per month during school year per child and are renewed in August, however contact your local branch to get specific pricing information. Please call Units for the summer fee schedule. |
